3- Day Tofino Adventure Tour

Get ready for a true West Coast experience on our 3-day Tofino Adventure Tour! This student-favourite trip combines breathtaking nature, beach bonfires, and optional outdoor adventures like bear watching. Explore charming towns like Ucluelet and Tofino, hike coastal trails, and stand among the towering trees of Cathedral Grove. With two nights at a cozy lodge, daily breakfast, and a group dinner included, it’s the perfect balance of activity and relaxation. A bonfire with marshmallows and games on the beach makes it an experience you won’t forget!

Please note: Final departure details including the pick-up location and time, packing list, and important reminders will be sent to you by email approximately one week before the tour.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Victoria to Ucluelet

• 7:45 am: Students arrive at Uplands Campus and check in with DCSA guides.
• 8:00 am: Depart Victoria.
• Students are recommended to bring a packed lunch or purchase lunch at Coombs Market.
• Visit Coombs Market and snap a photo of the famous goats on the roof!
• Trail walk around Little Qualicum Falls – impressive waterfalls cascading down a rocky gorge in a beautiful forest setting.
• Check into your hotel in Ucluelet.
• Enjoy a group dinner (included).
• Bonfire and marshmallow roast near your hotel (weather permitting).

Day 2: Tofino / Ucluelet

• Bagged breakfast included.
• Travel to the town of Tofino with the option to join a Bear Watching Tour.
• Those not participating in the tour can join their guide for an easy walk to Tonquin Beach and later explore the village of Tofino for lunch.
• Rest of the day: Free time to explore and enjoy dinner (own expense).
• Evening games and another beach campfire (weather permitting).
• Return to your hotel in Ucluelet after the campfire.

Day 3: Ucluelet to Victoria

• Bagged breakfast included.
• Option to participate in surfing.
• Hike along the Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet.
• Depart for Victoria.
• Stop for lunch (own expense) in Port Alberni.
• Stop in Duncan to explore the City of Totems and join a walking tour of First Nations totems lining the downtown streets.
• Return to Uplands Campus around 4:30 pm.
